Martha's Great for Groups

In June 2002, I brought a large group to the island for a day trip. We had reserved bikes at Martha's Bike Rentals. When we arrived at their shop, they were very organized and had us on our way quickly. The equipment was new, in good shape and properly sized for each rider. We would recommend any group that is planning a trip to the island to rent their bikes from Martha's Bike Rentals.

Martha's Saves A Honeymoon!

"While on my honeymoon, my wife and I were enjoying a leisurely bike ride from Vineyard Haven to Edgartown when my 10 speed suffered a catastrophic failure, rendering it all but immoveable. After cutting the chain so as to be able to at least roll the bike, we went to Martha's Bike Rentals to see if they might be able to provide some repair services. Upon further inspection it became obvious that the repairs themselves would be more expensive than the value of the bike itself. As it was my honeymoon, the friendly staff offered to sell me one of their rental bikes at a very reasonable price. That was in 1998 and I am still riding it today. The kind and courteous service that I received at Martha's Bike Rentals made a potentially stressful moment on my honeymoon seem like a bump in the road."
